Atmosphere & Decor:
The hotel in fact is right next to the DLR station and it says a lot for the sound insulation that while we were eating our lunch in the elegant Cinnamon Restaurant on the ground floor, the noise of the trains, which were literally just above our heads, was reduced to an unobtrusive background rumble. The decor of the restaurant is spare and modern, dark browns and greys livened up by a brilliant lime green. The staff were quietly welcoming. Only one other table was occupied when my partner and I had lunch, but we sat by the window and looked out on the bustle of workers going to and fro outside.
